Yeah, i see your point... Maybe nitrogen or CO2 would be better...

Update: I went out and got on it at full throttle. Around 7000RPM you could feel some slight missing and it didn't feel like all...

Afterward, i used the fuel pump prime connector to pressurize the system. After, two hours the system bled down to 35PSI. Id say that is pretty good. Im at a loss as to why it was bleeding pressure...

I suppose the way to check that would be to do some test launches with it removed and see what happens...
