Idles at about ~800 when cold but “searches” for a bit when Im coming to a stop and put the clutch in. When it warms up the idle can be quite erratic. Check engine light also comes on and off at...

Yep, just checked the MAP sensor lines and all was good. I fear I may have to pull the plenum again. Will most likely get rid of the secondaries and do the coolant bypass once Im in there. Sounds...

Whistling noise

Hey guys, my Z just recently started to get a whistling noise. It only really happens when the car is warmed up and gets louder when I hit the gas. Any ideas?

I am assuming the car is bone stock? Does it have dual Dunn heads? Im debating whether or not it would be worth it to trade my 91 in on it. Did you ever dyno it?

1G1YZ22JXS5800152. Was kind of excited to see a "blue" 1995 Z pop up only 50 miles away. I thought it was AB but it turns out to be aqua. I will probably still look at the car though.

Just traded my c5 z for a cyber grey 09 z06. The ls7 is a beast. But there is nothing like the lt5.

If I won the lottery, I would probably swap in that LS7 based DOHC by Merc into my zr-1.

Its a travesty really. If its not DOHC its not an LT5. The LT5 was something really different and special. This is not that. Thats like bringing the L88 name back and putting it in a base model vette...

Thinking about signing up for a half mile event here in Ocala in January. What do the Zs run? I have a Haibeck chip and some Watson headers with a gutted Borla exhaust with no resonator currently....

Also; on the passenger side it looks like someone spliced the o2 sensor wire to the crankshaft sensor wire? It is very odd and im wodering if it can be a problem? The car runs fine as is.

Thanks for the reply Marc! Im trying to fit a smaller tube into the header then sliding the flange onto that same tube to connect them but no one carries 2 3/4 pipe. Im wondering if I can cut that...

I hit a little bit of a roadblock with my Watson headers on the passenger side. I have removed the manifold, which has a triangular flange on the end of the manifold pipe. I had to hammer this off,...
