We sent a friend of ours with a C5 to have a new battery installed last year . He did the job but never charged her and she has not been able to contact him to pay him . Not sure whats going on .

Agree when they installed the AC , those caps got left there . Not to worry . If you have not pulled the plenum yet tho , your in for a big surprise what you find under there lol !

Not true . The stickies from Dynomite are extremely helpful and yes , it can be a bit of a chore to find your exact issue , but its still beyond helpful and I really appreciate his hard work...

If we start adding the newer cars , this site will become confusing when trouble shooting our cars and theres . Not discrimination. It just keeps searches specific to our vehicles .

Grab a magnet tool with a flexible arm . Maybe you can grab it that way . I knownthe feeling . I found mine had rolled under the car after installing the rear connection . I was lucky

Thanks for the tip . I have not had time to hand crank them yet but will try that this week . Just the right side resets itself after lights turn on then off . Weird . Did not do that before .

I called the supplier but won't know until Tuesday if they will send the 2 missing grommets. Would like to have new if possible . I can wait a little longer if I have too and then original ones...

Did you also pressure test the system with nitrogen for a 1/2 hr or so ? And flush the system with nitrogen before adding 134a ? There could still be moisture in the system even tho you put a vacuum...

Sounds like an obstruction to me .
Been a while but I am a retired HVAC mechanic , not a car AC guy but zero highside is usually a pinched or blocked liquid line .

I am hoping that's all it is . I have replaced all the 25 year old bits that needed upgrades so far and I sure am looking forward to putting it back together . Again a huge thank you and thumbs up...
