Re: Vaccum pumps!

Or just make me an offer on them, they are sitting in my way, who knows maybe you can make a buck or two off of them, or have a spare laying around just in case yours breaks. Hate to see them go to...

Re: Digital LCD Tach

How much of a hassle is it to install the shift light? Anyone know where the best access point is for the wire to tap the light into? Do you have to remove the entire cluster? That is another thing...

Digital LCD Tach

The tach in my car is a little sluggish, I'm sure a trip to the repair shop or possibly a new filter might fix this issue, and I'm sure I will get to that eventually. I have also seen the cool shift...

Re: A/C Diagnostic Mode

I wanted to bring this thread back from the dead. I am somewhat a newbie to the ZR1 and my brother has had his for almost 2 years now and HE also just found out about the a/c button trick. Can anyone...

Re: Not so smooth Idle

I think the hesitation has something to do with my secondaries. I have them tied open and i bet the computer is not calibrated to run the secondary injectors at all times. Of course when my foot hits...

Re: "Pinning" the secondaries open.

The only reason I asked is because my cousin has a crop dusting service just down the road from me and he has a big ol tank of 100 LL.

Re: Not so smooth Idle

I can't say that I actually "feel" the miss. I just can hear it, I suppose I can feel it when I rev it up to about 2k and hold it.

And as for the work, 35k miles ago LPE tore it down and ported...

Not so smooth Idle

My car runs pretty good and it idles down low where it should, but its ever so faint, you can hear a miss every now and again. It idles a tad bit erratic, not that its major, but enough to make me...

Re: "Pinning" the secondaries open.

I'm not 100% certain on the cats, I think they are there, but one tank probably wouldn't hurt. My car has 12:1...but it runs good on 93, just wondering if there would be a noticable difference with...

"Pinning" the secondaries open.

I have found mixed replies to this question on the internet but nothing as direct as I would like. I had a vaccum leak and it was causing my secondaries to only open some of the time. So I pulled my...

Re: Belt change

There is a gasket, the only thing I can think is that this car was worked on by LPE, they could have very well "trued" up the surface on the upper plenum and that little bit of surfacing might be...
