FWIW, I specified my Fusions with no valves. Love the sound at all rpm's and engine loads. No drone.

FWIW, I just put new tires on my 18" rears. Pirelli P Zero. 335/30 ZR18. Really like them. Also had a set of 325/30 ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sports but the fronts (275) were too narrow for my wheels...

Just another tip to consider... recently solved an intermittent no-start issue on a friend's '91 by replacing the starter solenoid under the driver's side dash. A pain to get to but a cheap ($15)...
