effect of no mufflers ?
 

Hi to all

my new 92 doesnt have mufflers.

Its got the resonator but the mufflers have been cut out tho l still have the tips.

Now l do actually like the sound it makes but am l losing any power because of no axle back mufflers

I agree u r picking up power.

I would like to hear what that sounds like, I have a 90 with the stock system and was thinking of yanking the mufflers at first to see what it sounds like. Do you have any drone? Can we hear it?

its the only one lve got so far....phone camera......tickover only and too much background noise....will try again with better cam next time lm with car

but happy the view is that lm not losing anything in HP

I know that sometime messing with exhaust systems closer to headers can screw with low end power band.....

my sound comparison is with my 90 with a totally stock exhaust system...lovely stock sound very smooth in or out of car....understated power sound.

And Inside the 92 l hardly notice the difference at cruise. Maybe more of a rumble.....but doesnt seem to cause any body drone in my opinion

but in third at WOT with no mufflers in a tunnel.....:-D....pure V8 music.....LOL.....l even get my son to give me drive byes.....I simply love the sound.....recording doesnt do it justice

Here is my fast video i did for you. i wanted to film that sound with high rev. too, but i was alone. this is from Sony ericsson phone camera.

My car had S.W headers, B&B with X pipe. (NO Muf).

I am not sure if my B&B Muffler is load or quiet type?? i bought my BB system in 2006.
ANY ONE KNOW WHAT TYPE I HAVE??

er well thats a callaway youve got there

but the second vid is similar to what lve got coming out the back tho youve got up front exhaust mods....its still a great sound when you take the mufflers off in my opinion
