Re: Going through DEq Emission testing
CO+CO2 %? What do they measure that for?
Also, what the heck? Granola eating states like Washington have HC limits of 150 PPM at cruise, while "sic semper tyrannis" states like Virginia have limits of about 53 PPM? :icon_scra |
Re: Going through DEq Emission testing
Hey Jeff do your headers have the A.I.R. system hooked up?
Does your state require a visual on the equipment? |

Re: Going through DEq Emission testing
interesting....
VA has real strict tailpipe standards, dont know how anythign passes out there. We have tougher visuals but tailpipe is much more lax. |

They do a half *** visual. They have mirrors on a wand, but it can't see under the vette. The most they will see is a floor pan. They do a gas cap check, a idle test and a rolling 25 mph cruise. No under hood. |
Re: Going through DEq Emission testing
Do they pressurize the tank? Just started that out here and do a "leakdown" of sorts. Guess if any assocaited rubber lines are cracked you fail.
