$50K Market Adjustment
I was at Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg Maryland today. They had a Blk/Blk ZR1 in their service lanes. It was a very nice looking Corvette. Nice looking until I saw the sticker. The MSRP was just south of $115K. Then there was a $50K market adjustment. The bottom line was $165K. I'm still trying to figure out what market they are adjusting to.

The more money than brains market.
Keep in mind the ZR-1 was sold for 50k over sticker as well. Look where it is almost 20 years later. |

Id rather want than own one of those. Awesome car but once out of warranty...Man, can you imagine people looking for replacement CF tops down the road? No thanks even though its one heck of a machine.

Well it will certainly add more DOOOOHHHH!!! factor or for that matter DOUGH factor when the poster starts off while I left my targa bolts loose and I lost my roof post.:jawdrop: Yeah that would be a bitter pill indeed.... |

Hmm I did not know that. So Dynamic roof failure would be a serious moment of dynamic seperation from the car! Yikes!!! |
Re: $50K Market Adjustment
They are seriously out of their minds. I saw the car last night. They have a lot of ZO6s and standard Corvettes on the lot as well. Not exactly jumping off the lot!

Re: $50K Market Adjustment
True. Jeffvette saw a newer model Z06 on the lot somewhere for 58K!! Economy is a bitch right now which probably make ZR1production uber low!!! Dont get me wrong some people will always have money but those folks are few and far between.
