Charcoal Metallic ZR1 - How many were REALLY built ??

I own a 1990 100% original Charcoal Metallic ZR1 (car # 240) 29000 miles. I was @ the ZR1 Bowling Green gathering this year (GREAT TIME). When I went thru the museum there was a 1991 Charcoal Metallic ZR1 in the museum & it said on the info card in front of car it was the ONLY ZR1 painted in that color in 1991. I have seen #'s saying 72 were built in 1990 & 19 built in 1991. Does anyone in ZR1 land own a 1991 Charcoal Metallic ZR1. Does anyone know the REAL #'s to if any more than ONE was built in 1991. I looked a long time for the RIGHT ZR1 & I wanted a rare color -maybe mine is a little more rare than I thought ------ Robbie

I Own a 91 Charcoal Metallic ZR1 # 730 with 33k miles on it. the Car was Originally Owned by David Farmer, I was also at Bowling Green (but Missed the Gathering ) I saw that 1 of a kind painted in 91 Charcoal Metallic when I asked the people of the Museum about it and they didn't know anything they wanted me to give them my car.. lol but since then I had wondered how many 91's were out there I have seen (online never inperson) two 90's that were Charcoal but never heard any one with a 91 so I guess including the one at NCM I have the only other 91 Charcoal Metallic. :cheers: its a Sweet Color and Very Rare!

I had a oportunity to but a 91 charcoal metalic that had been in a ccident in california earlier this year but I didnt get it, another gent in michigan picked that one up so I guess thats 3 of them

Welcome from another GA owner..Were you at Super Vette Sat. on the 6th? If so we may have met. If not that makes two in the metro Atl. area.

A 90 Charcoal was there I think he took a 2nd in the show.
