WTB- Salvaged or Stolen ZR1
 

im looking for a 93-96 zr1 donor car, project car anything as long as it semi runs i dont care how outside looks. Im looking to spend under 3k is this possible? dont care if its salvaged or stolen the whole interior isnt important either... basically i want a good frame with a good engine thanks guys

I really do not think you will find a LT5 motor alone for that price, let alone a whole driveline.

Running lt5's are about 5K plus another couple for a trans (with all the hardware)

A wrecked ZR1 that runs and limps along is 8-12K

Yeah your looking at atleast 10K for a running ZR1 salvage or not.
If its a straight frame with all the parts Your still looking higher than that.

Unfortunalty just like most cars some ZR1s are worth more as parts than as drivers!

a LT5 $5,000 at least, trany at least $1000 rear end at least $1500

then you have the doors rear end rear quarters the moulding rims and so on that are ZR1 specific that also fetch a good penny
