Tire Advice
Looking to purchase Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3's to replace GSC's. Goodyear won't have the front tires in stock until late August. I was wondering if I should go ahead and replace the rears first and keep running the GSC's on the front until the others come in? My rear tires are worn and probably not safe. I always trust this site for great recommendations and appreciate its availability! Thanks!

Re: Tire Advice
Unless you get some kind of cost break by doing them all at once, go for it.
My fronts and rears weren't available at the same time, either, so there was a period when the car had GSC's on one end and GS-D3's on the other. It was fine. |

Thanks Bob! I appreciate your advice.

Re: Tire Advice
Yep. Same here. I had new rears and had to wait for new fronts. Wasn't an issue for me.

Re: Tire Advice
I currently have GSC's on the back and F1 GS D3 on the front. Once I get around to ordering a replacement set for the rear, I'm sure I can clear off any remaining tread from the GSC's :D

Re: Tire Advice
Evl Twn,
I started working on wearing them out last night by leaving a long patch in the driveway! My wife was thrilled! I am in my fifties and will never grow up!:-D |
