Re-wiring the power key

Sorry if this topic has been covered but I have combed the threads and not found anything on it yet. I have the center console apart for stereo reasons and was wondering if anyone knew how to wire the power key so it is always on? I'd rather do it now while everything is apart...

What year? Best bet is to modify the calibration to startup in Full Power mode.

Most do this with a custom chip---fans on at lower temps---elim of cags 1-4 shift---changes to the performance curve ---and key always on--

all are typical of a mod chip change out---

check out the long running thread on "what chip do you have" for mfg of the various chips and what everyone had to say about them!!!

i was wondering... what is the way to do this on a 90? i have always heard the chip and the midamerica plug only works on the 91-95. is the only way to direct wire it on a 90?
