Rear Wheel Offset

I'm looking for a secound set of rear wheels and tires for my 94Z and came across a set of 17" x 11" A-mold replicas with + 50mm offset at a reasonable price. It is my understanding the original OEM stock A-mold wheels are 17" x 11" with +36mm. offset.
Will these +50mm offset wheels work out ok ? or should I stick with with +36mm?

I would stick with the ZR-1 offset if it were my car. But if you get them, I believe the wheels will sit in 14mm, or about .55".

ya, they will work but sit in about 1/2 inch.

17" x 11" A-molds wheels (either OEM or replicas) with the correct 36 mm offset seem to be hard to find. Appears the 11" replica wheels on EBay are all 50 mm offset. If I'm going to spend the money I want to get the right ones. Can anybody recommend a reasonable source for 17" x 11" A-molds with 36 mm offset?

AFS just started making the 11" 36mm again. they had not made them for 4-5 years. give them a call

You could always add a spacer to bring the wheel/tire back out to where it should be. Several years ago I bought a set of ZR-1 style wheels from AFS for my '70 and had to have a set of spacers custom made to get the right fit. So far I've had no problems at all with the setup.

Here's a picture taken at the NCM. Look close and you can see the spacers in there.
