NEW OWNER - 1991 #0093
Last year I didn't know the C4 ZR-1 existed, but after stumbling across the Hagerty video with Jason Cammisa I became fascinated with the tech, engineering and straight up cool factor of the legend.
From that point on I started my search for a ZR-1 to drive and enjoy. And I found one in MO! 1991 Corvette ZR-1 #0093 This was a bit of an adventure. I flew out there to meet the owner with my dad and road tripped it down to south Louisiana. I have to admit I don't know how to drive a manual transmission yet, so I'll be learning with this beast! My dad is going to teach me so that'll be fun(or we'll pull each other's hair out lol) and I'm looking forward to learning and enjoying it. Not sure how to post photos...but once I figure it out I'll post some. :fahne: |

Re: NEW OWNER - 1991 #0093
Congratulations looks like you got a fabulous example. A good way to start out is with a properly sorted version, it eliminates quite a bit of up front head scratching and lets the enjoyment begin with the first hard push on the fun pedal. Instant gratification, Instant! I also knew little about the Beast and embarked on the quest, I can tell you from the short weather window I got to use my ?91 last summer, there just simply ain?t nuthin like it! As for manual gearbox, you have some serious motivation to develop that new skill to the fullest. Enjoy. The members here have ALL the knowledge.

Here are some pictures!
WOW WHAT. A. CAR. It's so enjoyable to drive. Everyday trips to the dentist or getting groceries are now super fun with the engine and exhaust rumble. Learning manual hasn't been that hard. I'm feeling confident to drive around town with the occasional stall here or there ha. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...26cea59c33.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a2c0e185d9.jpg Sent from my SM-F946U using Tapatalk |
