Oil Pressure/Gauge Question
 

I just purchased a '95 and have a question. My oil gauge reading almost 80 PSI at start-up and during an extended drive it sometimes reads about 45 PSI (slightly past the center mark on the gauge) while at other times it read 60 PSI or at the third mark.

What is normal? Thanks.

Oil pressure reading is strictly rough order of magnitude. Your readings are good. My 94 reads about the same. Pressure reading will drop a little when the weather warms up.

My '95 is pegged for part of the drive, especially when it's cold. I think it needs a new one. The car runs great, but still has a small vacuum leak I should address eventually.
