San Diego area mechanic
 

Does anyone have a good reference for a shop in SD area?
Hopefully going to be purchasing a Z soon and wanted to know a good place to take it.
I spoke to Marc Haibeck and a few others who had suggestions for shops up north but nothing in SD.

I bought my 91 ZR-1 in San Diego in 2005 from private party. That owner owned the car from 2000-2005, during that time he had wheels polished clear coated, calipers painted, 4.10's installed, plenum & cam covers powder coated, car lowered, radiator cleaned out, trans removed/rebuilt by Bill B and re installed all by Lawton Ferraro @ Top Flight Corvette in S.D. That was a long time ago. They seem to have positive & negative reviews now. I never had any trouble with his work during my 13yrs of ownership. He never did any work for me since I'm in AZ.
