No such thing, has a seal around the spark plug and anaerobic sealant between the cover and head. Jerry?s gasket sells both.

Yup yup and its difficult but not impossible to pull the camshaft covers in the car.

there are threads in the forum about doing this work but if you get stuck just ask about it.

You probably should also consider changing the coalescing filters in the covers while you have them off:

Thanks to all for the quick responses!
I talked to Jerry today for almost an hour and ordered everything he recommended. Hope to be tearing up the Texas back roads again soon without the blue smoke from the oil leaks running down onto the hot exhaust pipes.
