Yes the early cars ('90s at least) have a different attachment to the cat back system on at least one side. You might check with Marc Haibeck to see if he has a used takeoff Corsa for sale. He is within reasonable driving distance of you. Corsas were my choice most of the time but after trying a number of exhaust systems, I ended up going back to my stock '95 system augmented with a pair of electric QTP cutouts right in front of the mufflers (installed by Marc). Allowed me to keep my spare tire carrier and with the adjustable sound it was a fun setup. --Bob

90 - 92 have different cat hook ups than 93 - 95.

90 - 92 has driver 3 bolts flange, with ball socket/ pass slip on flange

93 - 95 has 3 bolt flat flanges on both sides

I did enjoy having them. Kind of allowed the best of both worlds. If you want to explore them just use the search function for exhaust cutouts. Here is an early post on them and there are others that show the installation of the switch under the carpet, and there are a couple of pics in my Albums section. --Bob

Re: corsa exhaust

'90 - '95 has a ball fitting on the left side.
'90 - '92 has a three bolt flange with a gasket on the right side.
'93 - '95 has a 2 3/4" slip fit on the right side.

A '93 - '95 exhaust system can be thought of as a universal fit exhaust system. To fit it to the right side on '90 - '92 simply remove the flange from the exhaust manifold. The flange is clamped on. However, the clamp is a U-bolt type and crimps the tubes. It takes some effort to remove the flange. Once the flange has been removed the right side of the engine presents a 2 3/4" slip fit.

Interesting! My ?92 #428 has the 2 3/4? slip fit on the passenger side. It has the factory original manifolds and exhaust. Wonder if they started building the late ?92 cars with the redesigned 93 manifolds and exhaust.
