seat cover replacement
 

I may want to replace the seat covers in my 94. The driver side top is showing wear but i dont think you can get just one piece.
I am looking at company "Ridies Leather Interiors" and they seem to be pretty well priced and have good reviews.
Any body have any information on this company?
How hard are they to install?

What color?
I have a full set of gray 94 seats in good shape. Recently replaced them with new set from Al Knoch.

Ridies is great, good service and quality. Your problem with the 94 seats is going to be the getting seat foam. The original covers are glued down from the factory and generally destroyed when you try to separate. Sometimes Corvette america can be talked into selling just the foam if you get lucky. You could just order everything from corvette america, but ridies leather is superior. Had to make the same choice recently and regret the getting the CA covers.

Does anyone offer much higher grade leather? A car as great as the ZR-1 deserves high end leather too.

They sale the Leather hides; you need an upholsterer to make the covers.

And I’d rather not go full custom. I priced that out once and it’s scary expensive. You can spend as much on a full leather interior as you would on the best ZR-1 you can find.

No, I’d like someone who volume produces them, but uses better quality leather then the stock stuff.

There used to be a company from Texas at Corvettes at Carlisle show that a lot of guys seam to be happy with. But I don’t remember their name.
