New Style LT5 Billet Plate
2 Attachment(s)
I contacted Carter at ctmachining@gmail.com I wanted a LT5 Plate for my Z but I did not want the holes. I asked him if he could make one thinner that I would use double stick tape to hold it in place.
Carter made one for me for $78 see the picture. I also posted a picture of the double stick Scotch tape that I used. I would have liked it even thinner but welcome your reply's of like or dislike the appearance |

I like it, I assume you just stuck it over the factory?

Re: New Style LT5 Billet Plate
Yes I used the double stick scotch tape pictured. I have not driven since installed but the intake stay cool when running and heats up after stopping I hope this works. I like it with out the holes

Re: New Style LT5 Billet Plate
Do you think that tape will hold when it heats up?

Re: New Style LT5 Billet Plate
You’ll need to check for coolant leaks on startup and when it gets up to temp.
