From what little I've read, the stock GM replacements are fine and available.

GM 25055052
Delco GF481
Fram G3727
HASTINGS GF111
PUROLATOR F33144
WIX 33481

Relieve the pressure at the Schrader valve on the fuel rail and loosen the gas cap.

I think I got a Purlator or something but have not replaced it yet. I got it thinking it may be why my car was running bad, but I checked the pressure at the fuel rail and was all good, so I never replaced it.

I may do it just to see if there will be any difference in the pressure. I was toward the lower end of the factory specs, but still well within good range.

I'm no expert but neither of those #'s are what I get at the chevy dealer. I order by application and it's always been GF481. Mind the small o-rings on the hard lines going into the filter. Make sure ya don't loose them or that they are nicked or in bad shape. I change my F/F every year....it's cheaper that the pumps.:o
