Sticking ignition cylinder.
 

My ignition cylinder sticks when I try to turn it all the way back to remove the key. What lubricant is safe to use in it? I have bypassed VATS.

You can use any spray oil. I use LPS. It might take care of the problem. If not, the cam for the key interlock inside the cylinder has worn down. It can't be repaired. However, amazingly, the lock assembly is available from GM. I bought one about a month ago. PN 26033387
