Yup, watch it and then take a 14 hour non-stop flight. I know how to BRACE, BRACE, BRACE!!!!!! Took some cool video on this trip of our landing in Dubai on the A380. They have 3 camera angles you can view on the TV at your seat. Had heavy side winds and the plane was approaching the runway at a 45-50 angle. You can hear me saying "kick right, kick right". Came over the runway sideways and then at the last second pivoted right and landed straight. Gives you a real pucker. Amazing something that large can do that so quickly.

I was on a Korean Air 380 two years ago. It's more of a lumbering ship than an airplane.
I think V1 is about 180 mph for Boeing 747. I noticed it takes about 50 seconds to V1.
