Factory Tire Gauge And Warning Labels Wanted
 

I'm in need of a factory Corvette tire gauge which from what I understand was equipped in all cars. Second, there were instruction tags (paper/cardboard labels) for the e-brake handle and rearview mirror that I'm needing. Any help would be appreciated!!

I just looked it up in the NCRS 1990 manual.

The tire gauge is one of 9 items in the console and not having it should be around a deduction of one originality judging point.

Don't forget the battery disconnect, NCRS label on the window and a fire extinguisher for the 10 bonus points under operations.

Thank you for the information and you are correct. When I got my Top Flight for the 1990 at Florida Winter Regional last year (~98.1) I used a 1992 tire pressure gauge as GM replacement. :-) Worked well and nothing was said until the next day during a conversation with the interior judge that just asked where it came from? This is just about wanting to get my car closer to perfect (it's a disease) before nationals next year. So I found a Schrader Tire Pressure Gauge as they were the supplier to GM and in 1990 it was only a sticker. So I am going to create the sticker and under term restoration make a reproduction TP gauge. One of the other members out here has given me the dimensions for the letters so I should get really close. News to follow and I can always fall back on the 1992 version. If it works I'm in for just over $25, if not I have a nice Schrader TP gauge.

I have two gauges, one is out of the cellophane and the printing is a bit faded. The sticker is 1-13/16" long. The scan shows the outline of the curved corners. I removed it from the gauge and scanned it so you can see proportion and style of letters used. I have a higher resolution scan but it is almost 3 meg and I can't get it uploaded.

Excellent condition. Sticker and all. Think I have the little bag it came in as well. I may have your warning tags also. Seems like I remember seeing a couple tags like you are describing in my glove box. Do you know what they say?
Not sure of the value of the tire gauge. What are they worth?

I don't know for sure what the warning tags say, I know there was one on the handbrake, another hanging from the rearview mirror, and MAYBE on the gear shifter. I know that someone made a few reproductions but I really want original. I have no idea what the tire gauge is worth but shoot me a number. It's amazing that you still have all of this! Can you send any pictures of everything? I'm excited now!!
