Scratched roof panel. Help
 

Can someone advise the best method of removing, some fine and one deeper scratches in in my tinted poly roof panel. Was going to get a spray painter friend to buff it with a machine and cutting compound, but wanted to check here first in case that is a no go. Appreciate any advise or tips.
