Flywheel Holding Tool
Curious what everyone is using to hold the flywheel when torquing the bolts?

Wedge a short pry bar in between a cast in web or one of the bell housing dowels and the flywheel ring-gear teeth

Hans,
Should be able to slip the FW onto the dowel pin and start one FW bolt to hold the FW in place. Run the others in with a little red thread lock, then torque all if them in..[ATTACH]6718[ATTACH]6719 Sent from my XT1585 using ZR-1 Net Registry mobile app |

I was referring to holding the flywheel steady so it doesn’t rotate with torquing. Going try this tool tomorrow. https://farm66.staticflickr.com/6553...12525415_c.jpg H  |
