WMD - Saturday, 28 May 2016 - Westminster, MD
 

I will be holding a Westminster Maintenance Day (WMD) on Saturday, 28 May 2016 at the garage behind my house at 195 W Main St, Westminster MD 21157.

We will start work at 8:30 AM, but come whenever you can and stay as long as you like.

So far we will be working on Scott's and John's ZR-1s. If you have any work you would like to do, let me know.

Wish I could make it Jim. Fly out of Lagos Friday night but do not land at BWI until 2:30 on Saturday afternoon. Have fun.

Steve, Not much progress to report. It was transported from the Chev dealer near Knoxville to a local Chev collision center and has been sitting there for a week while the manager works on the repair estimate for the insurance company. He says he has been too busy to complete it and may have it done by the end of the week but I expected better response. Maybe I am just being impatient and selfish about it but I am considering Plan C, which will be having it transported to a different shop if they can offer a reasonable time and cost estimate. The good news is that I can source a black ZR-1 rear bumper locally and suspension parts from Marc Haibeck. The remaining work would involve repairing or replacing the rear fender. I will meet with the Plan C shop tomorrow and show him pictures to see what he thinks about it.

Sorry... I've got to pick up a belly pan for my BMW, take it to Dempsey's, mount it and bring it home. Dempsey repaired front end damage.
