FBI invited to Hawk Chevrolet/Windy City Autobahn event!
 

The ZR-1s have been invited to attend a gathering at the Autobahn Club track in Joliet, IL this coming July 12th. We'll be allowed to drive our Zs on the track, which, if you don't already know, is an excellent track!

Yeah, that place is on my list to check out, now that the other place is (apparently) closed. Elwood is a very short drive to the Autobahn Park as well; just a couple minutes (about) south of the Rt 66 Drag strip (on IL 53, for you not familiar).

Stay tuned. As for weather...who knows, right? Wouldn't be the first time my car got rained on. (Might as well make it 5 out of 6 outings so far this year it has "RAINED ON RED"!)

UPDATE!!!

Per Dom's suggestion, the Silver Dollar Restaurant in Elwood (see East Central Region page for details) is the new rallying point on Sunday morning around anytime after 8 AM (for breakfast/coffee) before caravanning together up to the track less than 5 minutes away.

Yeah, it always seems to rain on my car. Maybe I should bring Ami's Z instead! (I'd bring both, but for want of a trusted driver. She ain't too trusting where her babies are concerned!!)

Well...it is what it is! I'll shine it up like a WAXER might, and hope for the best anyway. But, if it gets wet...well...so what else is new??? (That last outing for the pizza night last month was thee worst rain I'd ever driven through, and she didn't miss a stitch and my O2s are mounted laterally too!)
