Re: Mojave Mile

MKM is pleased to announce the return of the 1.5-mile Mojave Magnum! This event will be held on April 11-12, 2015. It will be at the usual location, the Mojave Air and Space Port in Mojave, CA.

All runs at this event will be 1.5 miles; there will be no separate 1-mile runs like last time. However, we are planning to have an intermediate speed trap at the 1-mile mark on the course. If that happens, those 1-mile trap speeds will be eligible for our Mile records and speed clubs.

Entry is limited to 110 persons on each day. We have been taking online entries for a week now, and we are already getting very close to filling up. Don't be left on the outside looking in!

Re: Mojave Mile

Not too happy about getting only 3 runs on SAT & did everything possible to get more, The next worse event at Mojave was 4 runs( lots of pissed off racers that day), but most events there were PLENTY, something went wrong this April, too many entries, & not getting 1 car started ASAP after earlier car was clear off runway, the 1 run on SUN was my choice(headwind & needing to drive my 24 yr old car home 450 miles), but was still a GREAT weekend! I counted 170 entrants now some were SAT only & some SUN only, there were to have only 110 each day???
