Wtd: '91 Crankcase Vent Tube, Driver's side, plus ...

1 Attachment(s)
I need the four pieces circled in the diagram below.

Not urgent, but my tube has a broken tab, and my other pieces are non-stock.

I'm in the middle of a plenum pull to replace coils. Noticed these and thought I'd replace them if they were available for a reasonable price.

Thank you.

Thank you. I'm quickly learning that gaskets are only one of many things Jerry has.

I think he only has the hard line, so I'm still looking for the end parts (511 & 521).

Thank you Russ. Sorry that I couldn't combine with your first order today, which had already been packed, labeled & gone.

Yeah, I really hate it when a vendor ships my order immediately, before I get a chance to say, "Wait, I screwed up!". :-)

JK, of course. Looking forward to double the excitement of getting two packages of fun stuff.

Russ,

The reason those tabs break off is because the plenum bolt sits on top of the tab and when torquing the plenum bolt, the bottom of the bolt tends to grab the tab and rotate, twisting the tab off the tube.
I learned to slip in a washer between the bolt and the tab and keep my eye on the tab as I am torqing the bolt. Grab the tab with a plier, if necessary, to avoid twisting the tab.
I jst picked up the same tube from Jerry. What a deal! Some other vendors ask for $470 for this piece...

Ah. That makes sense. Thanks for that suggestion.

I ordered everything but the hard line from Jerry. I'll probably reweld mine, then be careful when tightening it down.

Thanks very much.

If you can weld aluminum - great! If not, rough up the mating surfaces (tab and the tube), mix a small quantity of JB Weld, tighten all plenum bolts per spec. Remove the bolt with broken tab. Put a dab of JB Weld on the tab, loosely tighten the bolt (w/ washer) over the tab with the tab properly positioned on the tube. Let the JB Weld cure overnight. Finally, torque the bolt carefully (holding the tab in place with a plier so that it dosen't twist).
Above is what I was doing until my stupidity resulted in breaking the tube near the TB.
