Phase I LT5 #026 With Phase II Upper End

Just picked up this little boat anchor. Also obtained the throttle body and air horn. This was a UK graveyard piece. Looking for Phase I heads now.

How was that in a junkyard?

These early development motors were devolved in England by Lotus. GM scrapped many parts and Prototype ZR-1's there

I get the feeling you are on your way to building your own little
Corvette ZR-1 Museum. Telling the story from beginning to end!

Joe, I got this piece from Geoff. I'm assuming that this one sat in the UK graveyard where the prototypes were scrapped. It's a neat piece. The front of the oil pan is "finned" for cooling. It also has an 8" round cutout in the bottom of the pan that's been welded shut, just like my EX5023. It was a development issue with the phase I and II motors.

I'm currently in talks to obtain a pair of Phase I heads. It's a display piece only, of course.
