resonate in the cabin...where you have trouble hearing the stereo and conversing...the corsa only bark when you give her a little fuel.. here's a pic.. http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j9...newmods015.jpg |
Re: Exhaust
I think it's 3" only for the Z.
This is about the cheapest I've found and you should ride in one before you buy. http://www.corvettesofhouston.com/pr...roducts_id=222 Also, http://www.tbyrnemotorsports.com/vet...teexhaust.html has some good deals every now and again. |

I have heard some people in the know say Corsa sounds good provided you don't have headers, but that they just don't sound as good as B&B with headers. I am sure it is all a matter of taste, but B&B's sound great despite the potential for resonance. If you run cats and use the resonator it should be fine. If however you are like some of us who went with no cats, and a X-pipe, you might find it a little loud. http://zr1netregistry.com/forum/showthread.php?t=470  |
Re: Exhaust
OK, thanks to all
I will look into Corsa ! |
Re: Exhaust
I must have a special B&B because I don't have the annoying resonance I hear about and it sounds awesome. I know the older versions are pretty bad and I forget when B&B did the design change, but I know I have the newer style and mine has the resonators. I love it and would not want anything else. I guess we all have different taste so get the one that you like and try to ride in the different Zs and set ups if you have the opportunity. The Gathering is the ultimate place to hear them all in different configurations.
If you come to Hawaii after Dec, you can ride in mine with SW headers, no cats and B&B Tri-flos with resonators. |
