Anybody ever run the Billet Specialty Street Lite wheels?

If so what would be the required backspacing specs for the Z?

The 9.5" wheel isn't offered in an "exact match" using back-spacing dimensions, the wheel/tire combination would be nearly 1/4" more outboard than it is presently using the 7.250 spec they mention as max.

The 11" could be done and assuming they only offer increments of .250 I would think you would want 7.25, that would push the wheel/tire less than 1/4" more out. A 7.500 would be pretty close, maybe only .100 or so off.

It would be maybe advisable to ask if they offer the "offset" specs for their wheels.

The SSL I used is the 17" and I think it's only offered in 17" - maybe not. Did I miss something? It's generally accepted that the 9.5 is 7.4 +/- and the 11 is 7.4 also+/- when discussing back-spacing.

If this is a 2-3 piece wheel offset options shouldn't be a problem,if its a cast wheel you are limited.

They reference back-spacing limitations on their web specs for the wheel. They have a minimum and a maximum spec. I assume that most increments between minimum and maximum are options and none other than that.

OP mentioned "Street Lite" and this is what I've seen on a local car (not a Corvette) but seems to be the choice of the OP.

They list a jobber price of $356 for a 17x11. That's a heckuva price if they will sell it to us for that.

Most wheel manufacturers offer their two-piece wheels in 1/8" backspace increments. If you could get a 17x11 with 7.375" backspace for the rear,that should fit fine with a 315/35/17 tire.

Seems like a 17x9.5 front w/7.25" backspace would work on the front of a ZR-1 with a 275/40/17 front tire. The track would increase approximately .150 per side,though.

Precisely why I suggested the OP ask if they could offer up some "offset" specifications for their wheels. Nowhere do they mention the "increments" - they just mention minimum and maximum. Questions need to be asked. If you're going to use back-spacing it would be important to also ask the "total wheel width" since back-spacing is not directly related to "advertised or spec width"! There's an "assumed" 1" spec for flanges but it's not always so.

They seem to do two in a 14" diameter w/horn buttons and adapters to match the columns also. If the horn button is a "billet" piece the options are endless!

Yeah,it's a common assumption that a 17x11 wheel is 11" wide when it is actually closer to 12". Zero offset on a 17x11 is actually 6" backspace,not 5.5".

Sorry for the unrelated question but what offset or backspace number are members running on 18x12 rears?
