New shoes for the 427

Look what arrived today. This should help hook 700 hp.

Toyo Proxes RA-1 for the front / Proxes TQ for the rear. The rears are very wide, I would say wider than GS-D3's, but I don't have any to measure.

OE sizes, but the rears definitely have more tread width.

Todd,

You gotta be using something bigger than 11s, right?

love the RA1s great tire at a great price

somebody buy my CCW 505s so I can go back to 18" rims!!

I have a set of the 335 RA1s and I believe the front 275s are still available.

anybody know if they still make the 18/30/335s?? they seem to have been discontinued.

are the proxies as soft as the RA1??

I also like the R888, but not the tread pattern, looks a bit funky but they work well

Those are DOT legal tires? I always thought that those Toyo RA-1's were track use only???? Jez the backs look like they'd be a bit scary in the wet, no?

According to G/Yr's web site the D3 315's have a tread width of 11.2" and a section width of 12.3".

They look like they stick like krazy glue!

RA1s are a great street tire don't let anyone tell you otherwise

they were designed to be a racing rain tire for the porsche and work suprisingly well

I run them on the TT z06 and love them

rode into work on them at 33 deg which is another thing the "experts" clain you must not do.

they hook just fine at any sane throttle

the the TT spanks out some immed ooooffff dah int he cold

traction control is busted on the car right now so I have to take it ez!
