The roads are still needing work but the pot holes will continue to be patched and the one I almost hit will be repaired because I called it in. YES!!!
It was easy to do. I made a specific request based on facts and found the right people to educate on the issue.

12/21/12 is the last day on the Myan calander. The thing that bothers me is all the planets line up that day. The Myans figured that out thousands of years ago? Kinda' wierd.

That true John? How can a calander end 13 times? Isin't that like quiting smoking for a week? You didn't really quit, just took a break. Somebody always has an end of the world prediction.

Our standard calendar "ends" on Dec 31 every year...

There's also no planetary alignment in 2012.

It's not planetary alignment on 12/21 it's galactic.
The sun lines up with the center of the Milkyway.
So I guess now would be the time to stop paying bills right?

Me, I think the Mayan calendar ends because they ran out of
space on the stone. Don't you just hate it when that happens?

Yes there is a general "galactic alignment" in December - it happens every year :)
