Which set of FSM should I buy?

Which of the following would be better to have or are they the same thing? Or is there something else that would be better?

1-http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....Z5Z5Z50000050F

2-http://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corve...-lt5-1990.html
Thanks, Joe

I purchased my set off of eBay ... there are several listings right now, such as

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-Chevorl...493f60&vxp=mtr

If you can wait, you might find a better price (I paid less ~ 50 for these two IIRC).

There's also an LT5 supplement manual. (eg, http://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-1991-19...af8721&vxp=mtr)

The links you have are to the FSM. However, the "white cover" manual is the "early" version (there will be some minor updates). The "red cover" manuals are the "final" version.

Definitly save some money if I buy them used, thx. But is there a differnece between the 2 I posted? Is one just a photo copy of the other?

It looks to me as if 1) is a photocopy of the FSM, while 2) is the acutal FSM (soft-bound book). I would assume both are the "final" versions, but ... So, I'm guessing there's no difference in the content of the 2 options.

That's what I'm guessing too. The only thing that's got me puzzled is the photocopy looks a lot thicker, like it has more information. Could be you just can't tell the difference of thickness from the photos....but.

I like the orig Helm red books. I have been able to get two different years (both books) used for about $60 per set.

Did you have any problems like missing pages? That's my one concern buying used.

book condition varies, but the worst thing I ran into is a dog-eared page or two. For reference (adjust for inflation as necessary), A single Helm manual for my 92 Z28 cost $90 (in 1992). I ordered it the old fashioned way with the card included in my owners manual package.
