Is there a member who's also a mechanic?
 

I live in Warminster PA. I've already fixed various minor problems w/ my '90 Z. Was wondering if anyone could recommend a trustworthy mechanic nearby. Still need to get the car inspected and I have other issues I'll need help with, like service ride light is on (checked the front shocks, they're OK), so that leaves the rear. Oil pressure sensor is on the fritz (may fix this my self). Digital display dims sometimes:confused: Also need tires soon. Just want someone who knows the ZR-1 to inspect it, tune it, tell me if there's anything else wrong, and do some of the repairs for me, as my time and garage space are limited. Thanks, Joe

You are outside Philadelphia, yes? If you don't mind a ride to
Westminster md, I'm sure wazoo (local Z owners) can help

There is another Z owner from Phili coming down for injector replacement in mid August. Maybe we can schedule both the same day

Yep, I'm 35min NW of Center City Philly. Would love to go, just have to check w/ the wife to make sure there's no plans w/ the kids on the day they're meeting. Thanks:cheers:

My brother lives about 5 miles from you in Dresher, but he does not have a ZR-1. I was up at his house in my ZR-1 for a wedding a week ago.
You are about 2.5 hours from me.

Anyway. I live in Westminster, Maryland, and you are always welcome to come to one of our WAZOO Westminster Maintenance Days at my garage. We will be glad to help you get your Z in tip-top condition.

I will be traveling between now and Corvettes at Carlisle, so the next WMD will be in September.

I hope you are going to be at Carlisle.

Cool, thx. As long as my schedule allows it would love to come down and learn as much as possible. My goal is to have my car operating like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Keep me posted.:cheers:

Thx, I heard about the Nitto's, good tire at a great price. Although I heard the rear tires will fit on the rims, they don't look quite right.

My name is Tom Neilson and I'm the guy David ( ZZZZR1 ) was referring to about heading down to Westminster for injector replacement. Should you decide to go down and they ( WAZOO ) decide they can do both in one day, we can hook up and head down together. They're a great group of guys, as I've met several.

So great to see there a few other z's. in pa! my name is Dave, and im in the allentown bethlehem area. we should have a pa meet and greet some time.
you gotta make the run down to Westminster when you get a chance. could not find a better bunch of guys.....they helped with the throw out install on my '91. the WAZOO boys are amazing!
