This is some B.S right here.

This dude is gonna sue and clean up in court with a nice little settlement. For some cops it's not a job they do to live! It's a job they live to do.

But some of the cops that live to do it should not be allowed to use a broom without supervision.
I just had an interesting run in with a power crazed cop yesterday.
There is simply NO DAMN EXCUSE for such a## holes.

I was walking under a covered walkway in one of those outdoor malls.
I saw what seemed to be a cop (thought it maybe a security guard) leaning against the was chatting on his cell phone. As I approached from 20yrds away I thought nothing of it. When I got within 10ft of this guy he points out to the parking lot. I look out that way and keep walking toward the butt head. He then shouts at me to go around onto the parking lot. As I jumped back and obliged I walked around the pillar. I then noticed several cops talking to a few 20 somethings. I could then see it was some official business.
My feeling is this butt head should have put the GD phone down long enough to use English to convey his directions.
Excuse me. I need to call this complaint in. I had forgotten.

He could have talked to the cop like a human being. A little respect could have gone a long way for the biker. Cursing at the cop......he was asking for a hard time from the beginning. And got what he asked for.
Did the PO close the door on the bikers foot-leg ?

oooh, first thing out of the officer's mouth will be his undoing.
City will lose.
I observed cars passing these guys.
And I may be wrong but I don't think you can pull someone over
for the specific purpose of confiscating a camera/video.

Frank I would have done the same thing. As a citizen he has a right to know what he's being pulled over for. The cop said it was to take his helmet cam to make a case against other bikers that had broken the law. That's illegal search and seizer. The cop broke the law. his license and registration check out fine. So he decides to arrest him for obstructed license plate which was totally visible. And on top of everything this cop did that was totally unprofessional his partner was smiling like the whole thing was funny. It takes a special person to become a good cop. Someone that understands the responsibility of the power he's been given and has enough maturity to not abuse it. Remember he's a public servant. Not a public bully. Same thing happened in this video. But this hells angel asked the cop to take his badge off and lets settle it.

What an ***...I hope to see how this story plays out. That PIG better lose his freaking job. The biker now has a record of getting arrested and for absolutely no reason. His job is to protect and serve, not to harass law-abiding citizens. Obstructed license plate my ***.

It's cute that you think that. but it's not true. The supreme court has already ruled that cops have no requirement to protect anyone

Well Kevin if thats true then the Supreme court is in total conflict with the law enforcement mission statement. And you'll read it at the end of it.

Oh Oh, looks like the supreme court is at odds with the mission statement. Wonder which one would carry the most weight.
Kinda like the health care law.

Re: This is some B.S right here.

The difference is the mission statement is not a law. It's a code of conduct and some cops clearly can't abide by it. This cop will probably get suspended or fired. And the biker will get a settlement. It happens all of the time.
