May still need to replace injectors

Even though I pulled the secondary injectors and it fixed the missing, I still feel its a bit rough at idle,..idle is high and I think its running good BUT missing something,..we know the secondary injectors had at least 1 failure,..but I think the primaries have a failure too...I have one plug that is not clean(ALL others are great),.. here it is...http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/a...le/photo-1.jpg

This plug is in the #4 position...

I spoke to JON at FIC..He is willing to sell me the stainless injectors at current price and refund me the cost of these...(Ill pay the difference)

Question:

does these symptoms look of a bad injector?...seem like it to me or is it coolant????

Stainless injectors or accel????

:cheers::handshak:

Stainless if he credits you. I have Accels in two and they perform well but folks are pleased with the SS ones too. Use the credit.

BAM!!!

New stainless Steel injectors on the way overnight!...putting them in Sun/Mon:dancing

I HOPE this takes care of the rough IDLE!/bit of smoke/loss of a little power....

ALSO:

Has anyone noticed the tentioner(belt)moving from a (1 o'clock postion to a 3'o clock position??) almost if not touching the harmonic balancer????????

what would be causing that??....I bought a brand new belt and it still did it...and I am pretty sure the tentioner is on correctly.....:-x

I think if it were coolant, the plug would be white/clean/from steam

Absolutely true. I know this because of my Explorer just recently.
Not only plugs but cylinder and valve heads were ALL steam cleaned!

Even if the SS injectors don't clean up all issues they make future issues
easier to isolate since you can rule out the injectors (usually)

Re: tensioner, it is normal for there to be some movement. It's pretty difficult to put one of these on incorrectly, there's an alignment tab that fits into a recess on the water pump housing. It is possible for the spring to break or fatigue, which could cause excessive oscillation, but it's likely that you're seeing normal tensioner behavior.
