GM Tow Truck Driver Towing Instructions for ZR-1
The towing instructions GM sent to all the tow truck operators to make sure they tow and chain and secure GM models correctly just came in from ebay this morning. Could you imagine a new tow truck operator showing up in 1990 and heavens to betsy he had to chain up a uber 70K King of the hill correctly on the flatbed? (Obviously a Neutral Safety Clutch switch failure lol). I am posting these up of GMs recommendations for the community to save. I was thinking how many of these books have survived and I wanted to know how it should be done. That way we will ALL know how the tow truck operator is supposed to do it. I suggest printing and tucking away in your glove box or door box to hand to the tow truck operator. Note the block wood bracing and specific chaining binding and such. Enjoy D GC
