A shout out to -=JEFF=- here on the forum. I was never satisfied with my CMHSL install as the LEDs while bright however just displayed as four indvidual placed LED blubs when viewed from the back. In short they sucked.

Jeff and I traded a few parts that he needed that I bought on Corvette Forum (Hey we are a small community) and those Grey door lock switches are a bear to find. So.... Who said barter is dead? I sent him a spare lens and harness and he did his magic. The LEds are disfused and are very bright light rows they should be. Jeff you Da man!!

That Diffuser is part of the LED CHMSL on the Uplander but only on the GM part, not the Dorman part

The diffuser makes this mod Rock. Thanks for that clarification for anybody interested in following your lead on this CHMSL LED upgrade

It could be done quite easily, all I'd need is to is get at the 12v to the CHSML, and room for a box about 2x2x1 and 9 wires.
You got room for that in your helmet Cylon?
