Drove Z last night and it was running fine. Recently changed oil and oil filter and wheel hub and also ran battery dead by leaving headlights on in the past week (not sure if any of that matters). Battery seems to have plenty of charge now. Lights inside are strong and cranking of engine seems regular BUT it just wont start. Gas gauge is just under half tank (and im pretty sure that is accurate as I filled it just a couple days ago). It was parked overnight on a slight hill with the front of the car pointed down. Fuel filter was changes 10K ago and fuel pump was changed 2k miles ago. Also, I do hear the fuel pump turn on when it put the key to the on position. any ideas?? im lost

Could be plenty of things, but most likely fuel or spark delivery. I'd start verifying you're getting adequate amounts of both. Have you looked at Dynomite's solutions? That will point you (among other places) here:
