The funny thing is as much as people like to laugh at individuals like this, if the grocery stores were not stocked tomorrow he would survive.

Not something I would enjoy doing, but he has a unique talent that keeps him fed.

Oh, I'm not laughing at him, more likely with him. Obviously he gets a hoot out of it! I darn sure don't have the desire or the gonads to be grabbing snapping turtles, especially when you can't even see them until you grab on or step on them.

He definitely qualifies as a redneck & I'll bet he's damned proud of it.

I didn't take it that way at all Jerry.

My point was just that sometimes we only find negativity in things that appear unnatural to us, when to others it is a way of life. Much like the people who thought me silly for buying a snow blower, since I live in Mo,and are now the very one who keep coming over to borrow it this year

If worse came to worse I've always thought those starlings that congregate in mass at intersections would be a lifetime source of food. You could probably knock 10 at a time out of the sky with a shot gun. Easy pickens.

yeah but birds are smart, and you will only be able to get away with that for a couple times. I used to get paid by the set of wings by old man Russel. Started with a .22 lr and wounds up being lucky to get a shot with a .22-250. It truly is amazing how smart they are.

you have a snow blower ??:dancing

seems to me, at first the turtle was smiling

i for one see nothing unnatural about jumpin in ponds 1/2 nekkid and groping large biting critters up by their extremities.
hell, if the cement pond wasn't frozen over right now, i might giver her a twirl myself... LOL
