Has a real flange at least, that's good.

I think those are used and might be SW shorty headers.

$520 is a bargain and anyone needing them I would buy them up!

Haibeck didn't make them, this is off a Yellow 92 that was wrecked.

Anybody know if any type of aftermarket header was ever legal in Ca?

I recall Marc experimenting with those when I was considering headers. The idea was they could mate up to a stock exhaust with cats.

You might talk to him, I seem to recall they only made about half the extra power that long-tubes did. That said, they are half the cost.

Of course, just because they came off a car doesn't mean he didn't make them. They sure look like the ones he was making a few years back. I thought I had a picture of them, but can't find it. He used to have them advertised on his website.

According to a few "Texan's" I met a few months ago, Marc made 2 sets of them for 2 different Z's (one early model and one late model Z). Unsure if this is one of the sets.

He has been purchasing SW headers for @ least 5 years.

Only shorties with a CARB plate with an Exemption # affixed. No long tubes are legal. Marc would have to apply for the CARB # to be legal....and..... there would have to be plumbing for the air tubes added.
