CF under virus attack
 

Guys,

Just a heads up if you frequent CF. My virus software has blocked Bloodhound attack when I visit that site. Has happened several times starting from yesterday and continuing this morning.

I had the same problem last night !! Bloodhound is the real bad one as it attacks the CMOS on the mainboard!!! Thank goodness for Norton Anti- Virus!!! I was getting the same message DOM. This may be the leftover from the attack they had last week and were down for a couple of days.

So unless you had a spare CMOS chip you have to throw away the mainboard to get rid of it. Make sure your AV software is updated folks

Same thing happened to me last night. Not sure how soon I will go back there. CF might be running that forum right now, but they sure don't OWN it. Enough Hadi, enough...:mrgreen:

I think something on there got my master boot record. I had to do a reinstall of my OS and full backup. My PC now runs like a raped ape but it took some time. Needless to say, I'll stay off CF until they get that **** straightened out.
