Fellas,

I have entered my Zr-1 in the "Back to the Beach" car show at Mayo Beach park in Mayo, Md. Just curious if anyone else is attending the show? Would like to meet some of you if you are. I am new to this group.

This just in!! My band ALive-N-Kickin just got booked Saturday night at Billy V's Rock Bar in Pasadena,Md. So after the car show at Mayo Beach, I'll be heading up there to Rock out!! Anyone wanna join me?

Just in case, Rain date is Sunday May 3rd. Saturday looks like it will be ok weather wise. But this is Maryland, wait ten minutes!

LORDVDR, was poking around the Mayo Beach Car Show web site again. If I can I'm going to try and attend. I'm thinking if you live in Prince Frederick County you know the area. If so, do you happen to know if taking route 50 to 665 to Solomons Island Road is the best way to go? Mapquest is suggestion I get off 50 at 424 (Davidsonville Rd) and pick up Central Ave.

All roads lead to Mayo!! Either way will work. I would go Rt.50 to 424 to 214 central ave east. Mayo is at the end of 214. Probably less traffic that way. Going Rt.50 to 665 to Solomons Island rd(rt.2) to 214 east takes you thru the heart of Edgewater with a ton of red lights and traffic.

I am going to go to Gettysburg to wish Kirk luck on his next NCRS judging event and then drive down to Mayo Beach Park.

I don't know if I will make it in time for official registration, but I will be there. Save me a cold one.

Sorry but I'm not going to make it to Mayo tomorrow. The ZR-1's battery decided today was the day to fail. Instead of getting up early and driving to the show I've got to find a new battery.

Scott, Sorry about the battery. Thanks for joining us for the services. It meant a lot to Darrin that we were there and I enjoyed chatting with you. I guess we know now that it is easy to kick start an LT5.

I got a spare battery! INTERSTATE! Don'tbuy an Autozone duralast! Mine only lasted @ 13 months!

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm planning to run by Criswell Chevrolet this mornng and just get another Delco. It's not the same as what originally came in a 91 but it's close.

I think the last time I kick started a car was a 72 Vega. I was surprised how quickly the LT5 spun up. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?

Got a battery so I"m back in business. It was raining hard here this morning, did they delay the show until tomorrow? If so, same time?

Fellas,

Show went on as planned on Saturday. Only rained there for about 20 minutes. Rest of the day was mostly sunny. Hope to catch up with you guys next time.
