I am a little curious as to why you are "compiling the information for statistical purposes", to what end may I ask :???:

I am charting the information for my own use.
I am interested in those that have "survived".
I have no motive other than "curiosity" for this information.
If responses are data significant, I would like to ask a second round of questions relative to the location of the ZR-1 when purchased, accessories like electronic vs. manual A/C, LT5 engine modifications, other mechanical repairs and mileage questions.
To answer my own first round questions*:
I have a 1990 #2709 polo green with saddle interior ZR-1 that was found and purchased in California. I have owned it for almost 2 years. The engine is "stock". I also own a 2003 convertible Anniversary Package C5 Corvette.
I hope this "gets the ball rolling".

Being a new member to the board, it is nice to see your enthusiasm and interest.

Although not required, it would be nice for you to list you location in your profile as it lends to more responses and fellow owners discussing regional issues. You might even make a local friend if they know you live nearby, so I would suggest you list at least your state, if not your actual city.

Male, under 45


What members have an "automobile collection" of three or more cars? I wouldn't call it a collection, but I own/lease 5... To me, a collection is many pristine garage queens, of which I only have 2.

1990 ZR-1 Black/Gray owned 1 year..headers & borlas
1991 ZR-1 Quasar/Black owned 2.5 years stock

1994 Black/black, owned one year this month, 33K on the clock. All stock and staying that way except for Borlas.

I also own a Ruby coupe for 5.5 years, I've put about 60K on her with 107K on the clock. My first vette I could never sell it!

1990 ZR1 #2910... Been in the family since 98 and I own as of Oct 1st 04! Missn her lots though keeping her in storage. I am located North of chicago about 40 miles. They call me Griff

How's #205 doing? Looks like you've put at least a few miles on the clock!
That car was going to be a 415ci once upon a time, but it got saved........oh well!! It was hard to let go of.....believe me! Still one of my favorites! Thought it was going to stay down south a little longer than it did....again, oh well!!

That is one gorgeous car...hope you have miles of enjoyment with it!

You must be Mike Perlis, Jason's friend. #205 is doing well, mainly resting right now because of recent road conditions. But hopefully that will change as I am planing a visit to the Vette Doctors on L.I. to do a little upgrading. No 415 but some goodies. I may stay local if I can find reputable ZR-1 folks here in Pa. The car is great . I'll try and keep you posted on any upgrades, etc. Also, hope to see you and any other fellow ZR-1er's at Carlisle this coming summer. First I'm guilty of the CF habit & I'm gonna break it. My excuse is I'm a rookie Z owner :-D & rookies don't know better!

Survey: 1990, #2233, black, grey, two tops, complete owner's kit, bought from orig owner 12/16/04, delivered to me w/9200 miles 12/20/04(nice christmass present). Bone stock, new D3's on chrome a-molds(fake ones) & saved the saw blades with OEM tires(real scary driv'in on 15 yr old shoes), I wanna get a copland duct. 53 yr old that feels 25 when in this car! Only own this corvette, can't afford two!

Did I say that I'm proud to own this car? God yes, and proud to be a member here! Oh yea I have 10,077 as of 5/22/05 went to Kerbeck show & I even had to drive thru rain! D3's rock in the wet!!! Sorry I got off topic but it's hard to shut me up when I talk about my Z! :cheers: Tom.

Like to show the car at shows. Finally won 4 trophys this past summer. Sure is going to be sad to put her up for the winter in about 3 weeks. Love driving the Z. Have had a '69, '73, and '74. Almost had a '91 roadster but wife said no....wanted a cadillac instead.
