No recorded lap times were posted. July 18 reveal for the C8 is getting closer. The video is from Wednesday July 3. There were 4 of them running the Ring.

Looks like another "Ferrari"!
Not my "Corvette way"!

Close, but it should outrun one.

Well... They looked to be pretty "sticky" in the curves. Nothing to compare them to, but they did seem to corner like they were on RAILS.

:happy1:

Too bad it looks like an Acura NSX....

I'm sure there will be enough "Corvette" so everyone will recognize it as so pretty quickly. It even has the Corvette's Camaro tail lights. :-)

Those drivers are certainly pushing the cars (and tires) to the limit. Fun to watch. Thanks for posting.

I've said this new C8 will be a world beater...... And from the looks of how they all put the power down coming out of a curve, hell even some MID curve is just mouthwatering!! Anyone want to start a Go Fund Me account for me, I promise I'll let you sit in it lol :)

The Museum has a raffle for one in August. “...with all this excitement, do you feel lucky?”

That is about as low profile as a wing gets. The ZR-1 wing is tacky!

Re: C8 running the Ring in Germany

Maybe that wing design worked best (within their parameters). I don't know. Just guessing. You'd like to think the engineers and testers put a lot of thought into a supercar's aerodynamics.

I can think of a lot of things I didn't like when I first saw it, but understood/liked better later. For instance, the Corvette's Camaro taillights don't bother me as much now as they did at first.

Here’s an Un-camouflaged rear view of a C8 on the assembly line.

Watching that vid looks likes the cars could be pushed a lot harder . I wonder how many Ron Fellows school has ordered ?. I bet there will be a waiting list to do a driving lesson.
As for the looks ,,, I guess that's progress moving forward right .

;)
