Just bought a ZR-1
 

I've wanted a ZR-1 ever since...well 1988 really-when all the rumours started floating around of the new "King of the Hill" Corvette. Even saw a 1989 White pilot car with Michigan Manufacturer plates in my neighbors driveway.

Saturday I made that dream come true and bought 1991 ZR-1 # 520. Arctic White with Gray interior. 67,000 miles, Borla exhaust but otherwise stock. A few small issues but overall a nice, tight clean car. Even the vacuum secondaries still work!

Nice ZR1! When I bought my ZR1 11 years ago, changed all my fluids so I know where I stood, waxed & drove my ZR1. Have fun & drive you ZR1.

Nice. Enjoy the car. Still handles and drives with the best of them. But look out for that fever. Only cured by another one.

Any tips on cleaning the cam covers or are they permanently brown/green?

I'm no sure of any tips on cleaning the cam covers....a re-coat maybe in order. But I could be wrong. Beautiful looking Beast by the way and welcome to the club!!!

Congrats !! Love the white and the deep sawblades :-D . This is the site to be on for sure.

Shameless plug but I have my 94 injectors and red oem numbered LT5 wires I just removed off my 94 if interested ;) Nothing wrong with them. The wires actually ohm'd less than my new Densos :mad:.

Thanks! Don't think I need injectors right now but sometime this winter I might be looking to replace my plug wires. Don't know if I wanna spend the dough on OEM LT5 ones though. As for the wheels I want to put a molds on it. I have fronts so I just need the rears. Other mods will come later...

BTW I love your YouTube videos. Your car looks and sounds awesome!

OEM RED plug wires can be found for less than $80 new,the only difference is they aren't numbered like the originals.

She's a beauty! I have the same "soiled" cam covers. Thinking of making them bright red!
