Open packaging is it just me ?? Mail inspection
 

I receive a lot of mail in boxes. Not ALL LT5 parts mind you but stuff I buy all the time for my various hobbies. Lately the packages I have sent to work or home about half the time one of corners is damaged were its obvious somebody has peaked inside to get a look at the contents.

Yesterday I received an Alternator from Hib and the Amazon box it was shipped in the box was open 3/4 (Seal was cut)

Its my belief lately somebody is looking for a quick contents grab. Mind you this does not happen ALL the time but Half the time is getting pretty weird

Anybody else seeing this as well? Comments? I just find it odd. At home my mail is behind a gate so nobody is getting to it before me.

We get mail packages all the time and not seeing that kind of activity here in Northern Virginia.

I just received another yesterday the package was opened but the empty gun holder was still there. Geese

First thought is your delivery person, you said you live in a gated area, could be the person at the gate? Scanning for "security reasons".

yes I have once. I ordered a Mother board and ram for a PC I was building.. the box showed up empty wide open no contents..

I did get them to replace the items (Amazon) but why did it get to me? There was nothing in the box. the Carrier should have seen that mistake

I have a security gate I no longer live in a gated area lol. Still does not answer the mail so to speak about what is happen at both work and home.

In most cases the content is arriving however its obvious somebody is peaking at the contents

If the tape is cut, then that's deliberate by someone wanting to find out what's inside. Sounds like a local problem and not one originating at the distribution center.

FYI: I get many packages delivered by UPS, FEDEX, USPS and USPS MI and all are intact and sealed. At worst, there is a slight wrinkling of the cardboard from handling and the boxes bumping into each other.

I get packages and parts delivered by UPS with NO issues :p

OMG...it's worse than I thought.
Now they're striping away packaging from the actual delivery girl.
You'd better give me the address, so I can hurry over and investigate her box.
